Saturday Specials!

IN THE MAIL

From Jack Brouillette,

"I have left a small plot of un-harvested green beans along Hanover Road for anyone in the community that is interested in picking them fresh. The plot is almost across the road from my house at 2301 Hanover Road. They are quite good."

Thank you very much for your generosity, Jack!

From Ron Carvin, who was the "host" of the Muntjac Deer, a month or so ago:

"Here is a photo of the latest goings-on down here on Clark Road. At 6:40 PM on the 21st of July, My friend Reggie called me and said there was a black bear raiding his brother’s bird feeders at the end of Clark road. Upon rushing down to the house I saw it sauntering across the basket ball court without a care in the world. It took one last look back at me challenging to follow it into the woods….and I did, only to find it had disappeared. However, Reggie did manage to take this phone-photo while it was wrecking the bird feeders. Hope you enjoy.

Ron

P.S. Sorry the photo isn’t any bigger…..Reggie didn’t want to get out of his car to get a better shot."

Thank you Ron - and Reggie!

From WKTV: "Unsettled weather in the forecast for the weekend, though neither day looks to be a washout. Mostly cloudy Saturday with showers and storms likely in the afternoon. Sunday looks a bit nicer, with a mix of sunshine and clouds with only the chance of a shower or storm. Both days will see highs in the low 80s."

It's Summer! ENJOY!
