Wednesday for Thursday and onward

***************

It's 60 degrees with sunshine at noon on Wednesday.

WKTV's forecast: "*A freeze warning is in effect for Herkimer, Hamilton, Fulton, Montgomery, and Schoharie County due to frost in the forecast tonight*

Our weather finally clears out starting today. Morning fog gives way to afternoon sunshine. Breezy weather builds in this afternoon with high temperatures in the lower 60s.

The wind dies down this evening and skies remain clear. Conditions are ideal for frost tonight. This would be our first widespread frost of the season. Low temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

A beautiful stretch of weather is expected through the weekend and beyond. Temperatures will warm into the low 60s tomorrow, mid 60s Friday, and 70s from Saturday through Monday! Plenty of sunshine over the next several days."

Leaves are Falling!

If you plan on raking, this weekend, please remember that
THE VILLAGE DPW

asks that you remember to rake leaves onto the terrace / tree belt:
NOT into the roadways!

Here & There

It's been gray and rainy for the past few days .........

........................... and many flocks of Canada Geese are flying from cornfields, where they'd spent an "overnight," quickly forming their "Vs," and turning to head south.

The only benefit from the rain, that I could see, was the sparkly shine it put on these wild apples!

There are new Fall decorations on Osborn Avenue ............

.................... and early Hallowe'en displays like this one, in Deansboro.
