It's Recyclables Day

43 degrees and drippy at 6:30 Wednesday morning.

The WKTV Forecast: "Our next storm system rolls in tonight, bringing us plain rain. While a snowflake or two can't be ruled out in the higher elevations, no accumulation is expected. Overnight lows fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Rain showers and cool on Wednesday before dry weather returns on Thursday and Friday. More rain by the weekend."

Tuesday was a nice, dry day. Perfect for running .........

............. or sitting outdoors and chatting ........

............ or raking grit out of roadsides.

Roger Nichols was cleaning up his yard .......

............ while Linda and Archie went on a tour.

(If you think that Archie looks like Maggie it's because they're cousins!)

I saw a little army of youngsters marching across Main Street and thought, at first, that they might be going to the Library - but no: they proceeded across S. Babbott Avenue and headed west on Main Street racing to get to the door of "Sticks 'n Stones." (It must be their new favorite store!)

Crocuses are putting on a show, everywhere. These are on W. Bacon Street.

More and more hepaticas are blooming in the Fuess-Cleary Road woods.

(This picture shows why they are sometimes called "Liverleaf Plant."
