The WKTV meteorologist's prediction: "High pressure noses in and brings us one nice but cold day. Temperatures start out below zero this morning and won't warm all that much today. Sunny, with highs in the teens.
The next snowfall will be a two day event. Snow breaks out late tonight and lasts all of Tuesday. A general 2-4" or more of snow is in the cards. A snowfall map will be posted later this morning.
Heavy snow arrives Wednesday, as a large storm system arrives in Central New York. Snowfall accumulations are still in question, as there is still the chance that some of this snow could mix with sleet. Stay tuned.
No organized lake effect behind the storm, though we could see a flake or flurry on Thursday. Warmer weather returns over the weekend."
