STEPHANIE CORNISH

*************

56 degrees and cloudy at 7:00 a.m.

The WKTV forecast: "One more mild day (Tuesday), with highs climbing over 60 again! The chance for showers increases on Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. Warm weather looks to come to an end by Wednesday, with highs in the upper 40s. Cool weather continues for the end of the week."

With this balmy weather, it's hard to believe that it's only
25 days, 17 hours and 34 minutes 'til Christmas!

There's plenty of evidence, however, that it's true!

Santa is making his pre-Christmas Rounds.
He and Mrs. Clause were in Waterville last week and on

Saturday, December 4th

he'll be at the annual

Christmas at the Depot in Deansboro
from 1 to 3.

Come and meet him! Enjoy Wagon rides, chili, cider, cookies and candy.

His visit is sponsored by
the Town of Marshall Parks and Recreation.

Here in Waterville

Not only are all of the lamp posts along Main Street and Sanger Avenue decorated with huge wreaths and ribbons, but the Fire House has its evergreen ropes and bows ..............

............. and someone (I wonder who?) has "dressed" the Bandstand in the Park.

Morgan's displays, both inside the store and out, confirm it ............

.......... and more and more homes are ready.
Here are just a few more: the Nichols' on Berrill Avenue,

The Conways .......

............ and the Coiros' on White Street.

Jim Brackett's house on Elmwood Avenue.......

.......... and the Verdon home, on Putnam Street where, for a little while after dark, you can see AND listen on your FM radio to "The Wizards in Winter" - a complex synchronization of lights and music that will delight you!

Click the image, please!

If you're driving to Deansboro, slow down to admire the many matching wreaths and bows at Val and Ron Schenks home in Forge Hollow ............

................. and at the Grays' in "Dicksville!"

More views tomorrow!

Have a good day, everyone!
