From WKTV: "A pleasant start to the work week. Sunshine and clouds share the sky this morning. Despite the cool start, highs today climb close to 60 degrees by the afternoon. Showers associated with a weak cold front will move in during the afternoon and evening.
Clouds & sprinkles tonight with lows dropping back into the low 40s. A few lingering lake effect rain showers early Tuesday will give way to partly sunny skies. The nice weather ends by Wednesday as the next low pressure system approaches, bringing unsettled weather and much cooler temperatures into the end of the week. "

After a stretch of gray weather, the sun shone, yesterday afternoon, and the yellowed beech leaves turned the woods on Fuess-Cleary Road to gold.
West Main Street looked nearly deserted.
Decorators have been out, however, at more and more homes: at the Briggs', on E. Bacon Street........
..... and at this house on Babbott Avenue.
At 188 Sanger Avenue there's plenty of evidence that Matt is getting ready to put on another great Hallowe'en "pumpkin light show!"

This super photo by Jody Hildreth was in my mail along with a note:
"I had to go to Corbett's Glen - near Rochester - one of my favorite waterfalls because of the swirls of foam created at the base of the falls. When I arrived it was crowded - with families getting their Christmas pictures being taken and fishermen.
It only took a few minutes to see why there were so many fishermen. The salmon were swimming upstream and attempting to jump the falls. I think this falls was too big for them, but it didn't stop them from trying. In this photo, one fish is in the air while another is about to get swept back into the falls after a failed attempt."
Thanks loads, Jody, for sharing that "catch"!
