It's Garbage Day.

52 degrees, cloudy and even a bit drippy at 7:30.

The WKTV Weather Forecast: "Monday will start off with some patchy fog temperatures in the low 50s. Wet weather returns during the afternoon with scattered showers. A half inch of rainfall is expected with cool temperatures in the mid to upper 50s.

An area of low pressure continue to stall across the Northeast for the beginning of this week. With a slow moving weather pattern, the chance for rain exists just about every day heading into the week."

On Friday the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks showed up at my bird feeder and yesterday, the Hummingbirds arrived!

Every year I check out the Wood Betony that grows on the banks of the Oriskany.

This year, I took a few sprigs of the small flower - whose blossoms are about the size of a nickel - to Jody Hildreth.

Another "WOW!" It's a pinwheel!

Thank you, Jody.
